Collection of Personal Information and Information Collected Automatically When You Visit this Website

When visiting this website Visit Tucson automatically collects and stores the following information about your visit:

Leisure Travelers

E-mail Addresses

As a matter of policy, your e-mail address will not be sold, rented, or shared with any other business or organization. Users that have checked one of our e-mail request buttons may, from time to time, receive travel information, updates about new website features, and other information relating to Tucson and Southern Arizona. If you wish to be removed from our e-lists, uncheck the box "Send me updates and offers by e-mail" on the Send Me Info form. Please allow three to four weeks for our list to be updated.

Online Advertising

On this website, we collect demographic data from Google's Interest-based advertising with Google Analytics. Visitors can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using Google Ads Settings.

This website uses Google AdWords

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third-party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Visit Tucson websites. Personal Information

Partners of Visit Tucson may receive the mailing addresses, phone numbers, and comments from leisure travelers who choose to provide that information. Your selections and personal notes on special features, such as the Partner Portal, are treated as confidential. On occasion, we may combine system-wide data to create aggregate reports with no individual identity data.

Meeting and Tour Planners

Information provided by meeting planners and other travel professionals is reviewed by Visit Tucson staff to follow up on requests and develop future business. Events booked in Tucson are usually printed in the Visit Tucson Convention Calendar unless that event is specifically marked confidential. If a meeting is confidential it is our policy not to list it on any distributed information. Visit Tucson also uses provided information for internal purposes such as e-mail contact. It is the policy of Visit Tucson to provide information received via RFPs only to local properties that fit the stated meeting specs.

Security of Personal Information

We exercise reasonable care to protect your nonpublic personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. So while we strive to protect your non-public personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. This is especially true for information you transmit to us via e-mail. We have no way of protecting that information until it reaches us. Once we receive your transmission, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
